It could easily be argued that the true words of Allah can not be changed or deleted in any way.

The Qur’an states many times that Allah’s words have been said and recorded plainly so that there can be no confusion.  The source is reliable, plain and cannot be changed!

It can be also argued that people can change the interpretation, omit or distort words at will to suit their own agendas.

Up until now you have probably been encouraged to only read the Towrat (Torah), Zabur (Psalms) and the Injil (Gospel of Isa). Although the true Arabic words mean the all of the Jewish Scriptures (Old Testament) and the Good News about Isa (New Testament) some teachers hold a very narrow view of these Scriptures. They include only the first 5 books (Torah) of the old Testament, all of the Psalms and the first 4 books of the New Testament (Gospels).

In Lesson 2 we talked about how there is nowhere in the Qur'an that states that the Before Books have been corrupted. The Qur'an affirms the great value of the Before Books and the people that faithfully follow them without altering them to their purposes.

We have already spoke of some ayahs like Q10 94 and Q5 46. But there are many other statements and questions that are still out there.

What does your Imam say about the Before Books (Bible)? Can I tell you what I found in the Qur’an about the Before Books?

The Car Picture:

4 Tires – Torah = Book of Law

  • Zabor = Book of Sacred Songs
  • Qur’an = Readings
  • Injil = Good News

0” Zero (shape of tires) - “How many verses in the Qur'an claim the Before Books were corrupted or changed?” (Answer “0”)
